I drove by the airport yesterday b/c I wanted to get a night photo of the Korea Air cargo 747 (I love the paint scheme), and while leaving, spotted the C-17. It took great restraint to not pull over and try to shoot through the fence.

OK Eric you've convinced me. No more Inwood Park for AF1 for me, the first shot is excellent, beacon and everything- no way can you get all that fuselage titling from Inwood

@Mateo--very nice VH-3D! Last time I saw that particular tail number, it had the single-pane cockpit windows. Seems that most if not all of those have been replaced with the double pane ones.
Did you notice if the landing gear was still retractable? Apparently they're going to permanently pin down the gear on all the VH-3D's, if they haven't done so already.

Wish the light was a little better by the tower when he landed.
While we were waiting for AF-1 NYPD Aviation gave us a nice low fast approach and great bank followed later on by NCPD Aviation checking us out.
