Excited to meet you, Adam!
Phil, you met me already!
Meeting with you, sorry. Was typing with one hand (injury) and I'm lazy. I'm also not too bright. lol
I got my boss to work for me (damn I am good) :borat: :borat: I will be at all events through and through.
Ok, guys. Here is a list of what we have on hand for the BBQ:
We have hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, 36 cans of Coke, 36 of Diet Coke, 48 half pint waters, cups, paper plates, forks, knives, napkins, a bag of chips, pretzels and a little salsa.
Based on what we have so far, and as said earlier, we welcome you folks to bring stuff as well. Drinks that you prefer, if you desire beer it's BYOB. More snacks, side-dishes (if someone wants to get macaroni salad or beans or whatever), are welcome and probably needed.
Let me know if you folks have any questions. I'm getting very excited.
You just told me only an hour ago you aren't going and will be in California....Quote:

Ummmm... Defineately not going to be in California. And as for that book, you should read the part where you come into it Tommy. LOL JK but it looks like that is a real book I guess. Never heard of it before.
My mom says she wants to bring potato salad. :P
Need any milk? Got tons of that if you want us to bring.
FAO Vince:
Are there any decent delis nearby where I can call in an order and just pick it up on the way there? Even a supermarket nearby? That might be easiest for us.
Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it. Look forward to meeting you all sometime in the future, though!
Regards,

Greetings from IAH, guys and gals,
Just finished the sim ride (737-800)-wish I could be there with you, but am at the CO DO.
Photos when I return.
Enjoy the day (evening).
For those of us unable to attend, we expect to see lots of pictures  :D
Thank you to everyone that came we had a nice crowd and a wonderful evening!
The BBQ last night was a lot of fun. We had a good turnout and met a lot of new people in our community.
As I said to everyone last night, this site's been around for a couple years and it really would not be anything without the people who take part in it. It's is great to be a part of such a fun crowd of people both when out enjoying the hobby and when just hanging out together.
Thank you all for coming. I hope you folks had a good time.
Sorry I didn't make it. I took a nap and didn't wake up until 7:30.
Also sorry I didn't get to make it either. Hope it was fun!!
I would like to thank the staff of nycaviation for bring this event together. I had alot of fun with you guys and of course I will be coming to the future events. Count me in.
Thank you Vinny Pace for hosting the event at your home and your parent's home.
Thank You! :D

Yup, thanks for hosting that little shindig, Vinny. My only complaint is to have some warning about the height of the basement ceiling on the way to the restroom. Got a lump on my head due to a low pipe.
Burgers were great though, and it was a true pleasure to meet all of you. :borat:

Does this remind anyone else of the TV show Home Improvement? :lol:Quote:

It was great to make it out there though fasonably late. Good to see many old faces and some new faces as well. Great turn out for sure. I even came away with a knowladge of what a google means. (Thanks Mario)
Hope to see you all.
Sorry Ryan,
But it was Brian Futterman who was truly, deeply, unmistakeably
fashionably late 8) 8)
Great seeing you Brian!
And nice pic Adam :)
It was great seeing everyone Saturday night! It was a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to the next one. Phil, those were some great raffle prizes, thanks!
Vinny, thanks so much for your kind hospitality, really appreciated it.
To add, on behalf of everyone in the tower at LGA tonight, thanks for the hot dogs Vin. We are enjoying them greatly as I speak.
So... what were the raffle prizes?
There were good size gifts giving to those who won in the raffle.
Also, There were a couple of big items given too. Like a briefcase from Boeing and a big posters from Boeing. I think the "big poster" was showing the new 787 dreamliner, if im not mistaken.
I wish I could have made it. Being 900 miles away, it would have been kind of hard.
Phil, Mel and everyone else. I'm sorry I was unable to make it. It's been a crazy couple of weeks on my end. I'm glad everyone had a good time and sounds like it was a great event.
