Fred,
What time were you at FRG this morning. I know those S3 Viking shots were from today (Sunday). I drove past there on my way in just to see if they were still there (and they were). They departed about 1345 today. Very quietly left town off Rwy 14.
John
10:01 and 37 seconds. Stayed for about 10 min
WOOOO HOOOO!!! Delta 737 at FRG TONIGHT!!!!

Yesterday at Farmingdale

Saw her there as I was on my way to the Isles game. Was there for the Ottowa Senators. Came in Thanksgiving Day around 4pm, departed about 6pm Friday. Nice drive-by Fred.
Thanks, I have my old camera and really miss my DSLR!

Could be a thousand other things...
that aztec has been in it's current tie down since i started visiting FRG 15 or so years ago, and has seen better days. nobody at the airport seems to know the true story behind it, either that or thy just don't want to share.
Notice how KFRG gets better bigones that KISP???? Oh yea, ISP sucks!

i'd have to agree, but to a certain extent. if you want to shoot a few ILS approaches the ISP is the way to go. FRG is crazy with the sunday traffic. being # 20 for the field is no fun.
Im trying to figure out who came in on that USA Jet.
There was no hockey on LI when they arrived. The Isles played in Carolina Thuerday & NJ today. Some college team in to play Hofstra maybe???
Hofstra played in Norfolk Thursday night, the jet flew there and back Thursday afternoon/night.Quote:

What an absolute shame this one is gone. Its a major loss.
Even if the late model ex-TWA bird can be kept flying, the MATS version of the Constellation was distinctive.
Tom
Thank you very much for the kind words. It goes a lot further than you
think. You made my Easter!
On a side note, Everytime I would see the Connie Mats, I felt like a kid
again!

That 737 was here with the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team.
Flight Aware has N737Q coming into FRG sometime this morning from Raleigh.
Arrived around 1250local. Parked at Atlantic, apparently taking the Islanders to Pittsburgh around 1400.
Guess MidWest was booked!
Darn Fred where was the sun! Sky King would be a great catch at FRG! Great pic.
Here is one of my "NO SUN DRIVE BY'S"

Once again at the American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale. This
Bombshell nose art is trying to take a peek at the LCD of the digital
camera so she can see why this G.I. is not checking out her two big round
radial's of this B-25 Mitchell.
Fred, you have a very creative mind. I enjoy it greatly. Great shot!
Thank you Phil :D
What is that, Fred?
