Also good seeing you on here, Mario!! Hope to see you more, brotha.
hey, Im back. Its Tuesday night and I didnt get a chance to post this AM. Looks like the aircraft are still trickling out of FRG.
I saw an f-15 depart FRG this AM at 09:37. Nice greeting on the way into the office.
:D
the house is cmonig along,. thanks.
Hey Mario,
I missed you by about 2 or 3 hours I was at FRG for a few hours today. Not much going on. The two 727s ferrying horses were nice but the pics were backlit to death so they are basically worthless. Got some great pics of a Red Tailed Hawk but I don't think anet will accept it.
can you post hte red tail hawk photos?
Where did you see that?
I was up in Sullican County this weekend and saw a ton of Eagles soaring above us in Livingston Manor. Pretty wild!
I was shooting arrivals and departures in front of Home Depot and Ruby Tuesdays. This Hawk swooped right in and perched a top a light pole and hung around for a while. Also got pics of a family of Canadian Geese on the other side near Comp USA. Will post them soon.

I've been so busy with dumb stuff that I keep missing these shows! I'm so eager to get out there more. Keep us posted on stuff, Grumman!!
Sorry it took so long Mario. Here is this guy I saw at FRG on the top of a light pole in the parking lot of Home Depot. I left it big so you can make out the detail. Its not the best quality but you can get a good look at one of these Raptors.Quote:

Nick, can you make that photo a little bigger? I can't really see it.
Sorry Phil,
Just wanted to show the detail on this bird of prey, we rarely see these birds of prey up close.

Thanks. Hope Mario gets here and sees it soon. Look at those eyes. I love hawks they are so awesome. We have a family of them at the club and I see them a lot. They are murder on the squirrels. I saw the father rip one to shreads last fall. Nasty!Quote:
