Dave Lu was out there with me at Herman MacNeil Park. I called Senga and asked him to track it for me, as it was 4pm and already late. Senga said that according to the tracker, it had still not even departed yet. So I came home.
So it seems like the plane has been in Jacksonville for two months. Probably received some serious maintenance, and maybe even a paint job. Perhaps we'll see a new paint scheme!
VP-BDJ landed on 22 in actually pretty nice light around 1810L/2210Z. Watched her land thru some pretty strong binocs and could not see even the slightest change to the livery. Oh well if it ain't broken !

It was nice. While not what I envisioned, I had wanted to get Trump's plane in action for some time now. From here, I want to do it again in nice weather or something a little more presentable.

Is the tracking done through RedOne? It sounds like you're able to track Trump's plane more easily than, for example, The Spirit of Delta because his plane is not commercial. I still want to find a cheap way of tracking specific commercial registrations (other than calling the airlines with questions); I don't want to pay out the nose for one of those high-priced flight trackers. nice job phil.. great shots. i flew out to IND this morning around 1000, taking off on 13 and thr plane wasn't there. i came home tonight at 1915 and landed on 22. since i was on the right side of the plane i saw her... you never really appreciate something until it's taken away from you.

phil, if you had only shot that about 8 seconds earlier you would have seen where i was standing to watch it. i was training one of my fellow supervisors on the EMB-170 pushback and just finished the push. it sure was a beautiful sight!!

And I took shots all along the roll.
i'm guessing that it would have been the shot before the one you posted. look through them and see if you can see the EMB-170 tail...

I'm an A & P tech graduated from the College of Aeronautics at LGA. (Right across the GCP from LGA) and in the testing stages of getting the A & P certificate.
The college of Aeronautics has a tower which is a excellent view for final's going to Runway 4 and even has the tower's communication (receive only)
Donald Trump's 727 has been to HPN a few times before. I go to HPN for private pilot training and see his 727 in the middle of the airport. It's parked between two runways, hard to see from the airport unless your in it.Quote:
