Well, I just hope I have time during those hours and I also hope the Sun is out!
How will the near-disaster of the Qantas A388 affect the aforementioned flights? Won't fliers avoid the A388 for at least awhile? I have a huge Qantas A388 poster that is hanging on my wall. It shows the aircraft flying over the desert somewhere (probably over the Outback). I get chills looking at it and thinking about what could have happened if those engine pieces pierced a fuel tank. Remember the Concorde also used Rolls-Royce engines. I heard that Qantas uses Rolls-Royce but Air France and Emirates use a different engine so hopefully, they will not be affected. This has not been a good season for fliers or for spotters. Agreed?
The minute authorities conclude that an engine failure was caused by people on the ground taking pictures, we are doomed LOL. Until then, they should watch the lengths GE and P&W and RR go through to contain engine failures..
