Re: Lisbon-Portugal LIS-LPPT
All the embedded videos made the thread kinda slow for my browser to open, but cool stuff. Maybe better to just copy the links.
I liked the TACV and SATA because those are pretty exotic to us. Nice catch on the Biman as well. If you get an SLR camera with a telephoto it will allow you to zoom in closer, this way the planes fill the frame more.
Is TAAG Angola using their own aircraft now to LIS?

Re: Lisbon-Portugal LIS-LPPT
Hi, good afternoon.
Thank you for your words, my machine is this, excuse the poor quality http://www.sony.pt/product/dsc-w-series/dsc-w380
TAAG flies to Lisbon with its B772 with 1 flight daily and other days you have 2 daily.
Best regards
Re: Lisbon-Portugal LIS-LPPT
Hi again Carlos, nothing to excuse! Photography is about fun. Art doesn't have to aim at perfection. For aircraft images however, I wish I had a better camera back when I started taking pix of planes (had a very crappy film camera). 14 mega pixels is pretty good for a point and shoot camera!
The first camera I bought was not exactly adequate, but for still and panning shots it did the job ok. It was a Vivitar film camera with a 110mm zoom. The zoom is very important feature to get aircraft shots, even more than high # of mega pixels.
Good that you guys got TAAG back. That's a gorgeous aircraft.
Re: Lisbon-Portugal LIS-LPPT
Does that EuroAtlantic Tri-Star ever move these days? I saw it in the background of a couple of your vids...
Thanks,
Tom
Re: Lisbon-Portugal LIS-LPPT
This L-1011 is stopped at Lisbon airport and there are many long time.
O their end of life will be close, damage is often and its maintenance is very expensive.

Excelente!
I see the Air France retro A320 on the back, beautiful.
I thought the Euro Atlantic L1011 received the bigger new titles. I thought it was a sign it would be operated for some more time?

I thought a short time ago the Euro Atlantic L1011 received the bigger new titles. I thought it was a sign it would still be operated?

Thanks Carlos.. After not seeing the EuroAtlantic documented going anyplace for well over a year (or two) we figured this one was finished, but then it turned up at JFK in 2008 flying for Aer Lingus, so I figured it didn't just get pulled out for only one or a handful of flights, but maybe so.... I guess the Luz Air (sp?) is history as well?
Thanks,
Tom

That one has been stored at Aqaba (Jordan) last active photo on jetphotos is from 2008
There's a photo of the Euro Atlantic one from October 2009 active.

Interesting how those TAP A332s don't look as awful from the side in the Gummi Bears scheme:

But boy, those A320s sure look like buses with wings on that same livery!
