Re: Daily JFK Thread 2009
As far as the old site of AA T8, I've heard from friends that the PA is soliciting bids from design teams to design the other half of the AA terminal. AA obviously isn't happy about it, but the PA gave them more than enough chances to do something with it and they could never commit to something. I"ll keep you posted.

Wow, three years later we finally get an Aeromexico 777. Quite the catch, Tommy!
Looks like today there is a 767-300 on its way.

I've never spotted at JFK -- how long of a lens does one need to get a shot like that?

I think that for a shot like that, the location of the photographer's feet is more important that the length of the lens ;-)

Corning Glass last I knew. Used to (maybe still does?) go into EWR pretty often.

Re: Daily JFK Thread 2009
Scanderberg has had an Air Italy 767-300 operating for them this past week. I imagine the Euro Atlantic 767-300 I saw last week may have been doing the same thing.
Re: Daily JFK Thread 2009
Hi guys, have you seen any Asiana 747s in OLD colors at JFK recently? I thought about getting to JFK thursday night and hopefully shoot an Asiana cargo flight that usually departs around sunrise. Wonder if 31L is the one runway they're most likely to use in the early morning since I understand shots can be taken from inside T2 (where I'll be arriving on DL)
The Asiana pax flight arrives after sunset right? So no chance of getting the OLD colors there, and I need those.

I don't remember if it was this one, but there was one of their a/c in EWR not to long ago. I do remember last summer - fall we worked a few of their planes, I fell in love with the Dornier.
