I also saw this beauty at EWR I believe in 2000. I took videos of her taxying around from a window at EWR. This was before 9-11. Now, I doubt if I'd be allowed to stand and take such videos. The aircraft was beautiful. I haven't visited EWR in years. In the "good old days", I got a private guided tour of the old Control Tower by a great guy. I recall his name was Alyosius Riley. That year, I was also permitted on the ramp area to take videos of a People Express B747.

Its a shame to see Max go back to its regular Continental colors, I was hoping to see if i could have got a decent shot of it sooner but I never had the time to visit Newark more. However, i did catch MAx landing towards runway 4R at Newark back in October, 2006. The shot wasnt as great as i hoped it would but I kept it anyway. Here she is landing at EWR rwy4R on 10/06.

I have never been able to catch a good shot of her. Seen her many times in and out of EWR.
