Mark, love that AF 744 ;-)
Firstly, I can't believe how quick was the turn around time for my JetBlue image on JetPhotos. I submitted it last night and it got posted very early this morning. Wow.........I am impressed.

JetPhotos usually has a deeper queue depth than A.net. On average my pics take a week in the queue.
One way pics get high hit counts is when they post it to their Facebook page... that's a sure way to get higher hits. Not many people are using the latest photos feature ... another must be the popularity of a particular photographer. If Johnson or King or Fokker post on either site, people are typically already looking out for their stuff so they go hit on it... I don;t think there are conspiracies per se, but there may be favorite pathways at play.
I am patient, one day I will be up there, for now, all I can do is try to build a reputation for good quality images constantly :-)
Ditto on the reputation and image quality. I still need to tweak my workflow a tad, but thanks to you all for providing your guidiance, expert opinions and critiques..............these truly have helped me.
Actually Manny anet likes you a bit more than them. They have been tweeting your departure shots which gets a ton of exposure. They tweeted your AA shot the second it was accepted. I think the time had something to do with it along with the 748 and new Ethiad sceheme.
I have been doing very well lately on A.net and JP.net so I can't complain :-) And you're right Nick, there is certainly a difference in the time your photo is screened and uploaded... also subject matter. My two 31L HoBe Banking 747's were instant hits. It seems someone over there likes the banking 747s ... I figure, keep a low key, learn from rejections, don't fight it too much.. befriend the screeners on the forums, all goes a long way
Mark when you gonna post your JetPhotos latest of the Building Blocks and I Love Blue York liveries? :-)
Congrats Cary :-) This versions looks like a re-edit... bit warmer than your original... didthey continue to give you a hard time about it? I am surprised no others showed up in the db while yours was being held up.

Nice batch, Mark!
Here's my latest set from JFK on November 13, 2010. I'm way behind on editing, as you can see.

Have an awesome batch from ZRH on January 3, 2011 in the queue now, and once that goes through, I've got tons of stuff from January 30th.

Thanks Manny...it's actually the same exact version that I posted here before. I think they only accepted it after Carlos Borda's shot got accepted as a priority, and they saw mine was still in the queue, or vice versa. I'm only guessing that because our shots have back to back numbers in the database. I never got any reply to my two priority screening e-mails I sent...they just accepted it.
Wow... total abortion on that image... well, in the end, if accepted, all is forgiven
It's all relative. Priority isn't always black and white and that scheme isn't reallty that off from their normal scheme. As for Carlos he seems to get that treatment from them. I have had shots that I uploaded without asking for priority get accepted instantly because he asked for it and got it. They probably do it so it's fair even though like this instance I didn't feel the shot was priority but he uploads the ramp stuff and they give him the courtesy.
and after a long arduous hunt, the Finn got shot, bagged and accepted
Thanks Steve... I tried for like two months at least I think... it was a tough one... maybe because I was trying hard... there have been some, like the Jet Blue 10th Anniversary "Blues Brothers" which was just luck of the draw... or the Etihad F1 which was a real luck job lol.
One more from the queue today
A couple more from the Great White North. The SunWing is a new livery on an older plane.
