On of my best photos, avg 171 views per day, and 118th for the last 2 weeks! (strange how my 3 most viewed photos are of airports, not planes)
And here are some from Firestone form Jan 28th, and Feb 04

Nice catch Tommy!
You know, I don't often say it on this thread, but I must say I'm continually impressed by the quality of the photography of the folks here at NYCA - it's some of the best in the hobby, and it makes me proud to be a member here!
Wow, just wow! I have my first acceptance to Airliners.net!!! I have waited a long time to say this: I am now an airliners.net photographer!!! :D :D :D

Wow, Airliners accepted a JetPhotos reject!

Happens all the time..... Lot of variables. Process is fairly arbitrary....

Wow, with A.net, I'm on a roll! 2/2 accepted!
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1175915/L/
Congrats again Matt! It's a very nice shot.
Thanks Gordon!
nwafan20, I agree, nice shot and congrats on the 2/2 on a.net. Are you willing to reveal where it was shot from ? I understand if you don't want to reveal !
Again Congrats
LGA777
No problem on revealing! The shot was taken from the check-in level of the Macnamara terminal at DTW, outside, along the drop-off area. in this photo you can get a sense where it was taken from:
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...n20/DTW8-1.jpg
It extends like that for quite a bit on one side, probably a good 15 gates, and about 7 gates on the side accross from it.
Whats the point of photography if you don't tell others how you do things? That's no fun! :D
Thanks Matt and also for the actual photo of the location, I thought it might have been a non-public access area but now I see it is and a good one. I have not been to DTW in a long while so I have not seen the new NW terminal in person. It's been so long in fact that my last visit was to ride a UA DC-8-71 to ORD on the last day of United DC-8 service !
Thanks Again
LGA777
Wow, that has been a long time!
Yeah, no problem! If your ever down, shoot me an email!

Actually, it is a very nice shot, very unique too!
