15/5, Delta new colors.
thunderstorm rolled in ,wind shear to almost 40 knots, plenty of go-arounds
I don't think 40 knots winds count as an aircraft visitor. :-p
Either do thunderstorms, wind shear or go arounds. However a Saudi 747SP that came in during a thunderstorm, 40 knot wind shear, that went around would count as vistor, lol
Ouch 40 knots! If I had PIREPS of 40 plus and minus I am pretty sure I would be looking for someplace to go without 40 +- to land for the time being.
departures were from 13R, controllers were asking aircraft to move up on taxiway P, long line
A bit guilty to but lets remember guys this thread is about aircraft vistors to JFK.
I saw the long line of planes on taxiway papa with by binoculars, there
ATA 737 either Wed or Thur......My days are a blur
ATA was Thursday, I saw her land from my house.
