It took a while but I finally broke my cherry with Airliners.net, here is my first accepted pic
http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?id=1819839
I give up....what's the code for displaying a thumbnail either from Airliners.net or JetPhotos.....
Thanks Manny for the code!
Well of course that should get accepted. Excellent photo... Congrats!!
Here is the code for the above... but if you want, the forum tools do it for you. Just get the photo ID and wrap it in [ a i r l i n e r s ] [ / a i r l i n e r s ] tags without the spaces of course
PHP Code:[AIRLINERS]1819839[/AIRLINERS]
Finally got my second shot approved on A.net. JP.net is still a tougher nut to crack. My fault mainly as I am pushing the boundaries just like a typical amateur LOL
Nice one Manny!
Doug
Thanks Doug... I got really lucky on that day as the Delta was going too far out to the beach when ATC asked him to turn just a little harder :-) hence the nice bank.
Hey Manny I knew I have seen that shot somewhere. They featured it on the A.Net facebook page! Gratz!
Holy cow! I didn;t even know about Facebook as a vector to their images. I am humbled... didn't even think that pic would make it as I thought it would get an overexposed! Thanks for letting me know... I was wondering why the hits were so high!
Well done Manny!
Thanks Nik :-) I must say, after many many rejections, it feels good
And photos #33-35 accepted this morning.
Go Sun Country, hope they continue to grow.
LOVE that Sun Country... superb capture!
Thanks!
They are old Braniff people of course they will! Great airline.
A few more from FLL

Just won another appeal, and with this shot I feel like I am sitting on top of the world at this point. Although I know I am not really lol. Finally one of these mountain shots to my profile!
My 555th pic on A.net:
Brandon congrats! Curious, why rejected in first place and how did your appeal win them over? All my appeals have gone worse than the initial round LOL. I once made the mistake of pointing out a worse entry than mine recently approved and the head screener threatened to ban me off the site! so I don;t play with them as much anymore. Yours looks like it may have been rejected for either crop or overexposure from what I can tell on my uncalibrated work monitor
Nice appeal! Cracking shot. It could have the old sharpness reject I would guess. It's got a couple spots that are borderline but on that shot the prop blur and mountain are too epic!Quote:
why rejected in first place and how did your appeal win them over
When I appealed I asked for a 2nd opinion on the "Softness" it was rejected for as I said I could not see it and the shot had passed first screening. So I just politly asked for a third opinion is all and the head screner agreed with me. I think that is the 5th shot I have won on appeal.
Also when I was down in LAX today got the first shot of the eco Skies plane retitled with United! Already accepted here on JP as a hot photo, still waiting to here back from A.net if they will consider it a hot photo or not.

Hey that's a nice Eco Skies shot... I think Woz has a shot of it coming into EWR while he was scouting. Bill, do you have your shot still? you should upload it to compare old vs new ;-0
Two more have made it in! The BAe is the first in the database for the registration and the registrant

How do you use the anet button? I couldn't get it to work.
Thanks,
Dave
Mark that Gulfstream is sexy!
Very Nice David!
And Eco Skies is #3 now on JP. A.Net says that it is not worthy of Hot Photo cause they already have a shot of the Eco Skies part with Continental titles and already have 738's in the DB w/United titles. Oh well.

Thanks Manny! I wasn't letting the page reload before I gave up.
