With I believe 4 A-319's a day the US (West) Special Scheme A-319's are fairly regular JFK visitors. Unfortuantly I think only 1 of the 4 arrives in decent light as two are late night and 1 almost pre dawn arrivals.
Oh and BTW the original (757) Arizona scheme will hopefully be making a few JFK appearances in the next few weeks, before her mid Septemeber repaint into the new US livery, as the US West 757 returns to JFK starting this Sunday 8-19 !

At terminal 4 they had all the logos at check-in w/ the NC motive, and i think i saw something for a nonstop Mumbai flight.
Driving home from work on Rockaway I was buzzed by a 707 with a blue tail. I beleive it was the one that went off the end in Canada a year ago or something. I slammed on the brakes (thank god no one was behind me).

ILS at JFK is out of service and has been a good clip of the morning. It has been an intresting day at LGA as a result.
Sounds like ILS is back in service, ILS 31R and 31L are being used. There is a remark on ATIS that 22L cat 2 and cat 3 are out of service, and that 4R/22L is closed.
im not sure what it is or a tail number.. but over at the DHL hangar there is from what i saw a All white DC8?? with a red stripe on the side and a big A on the tail
Sounds like Arrow air cargo.
ETA: Upon further consideration, could also be ABX Air (think Airborne Express) - they carry a lot of DHL's freight, so it makes sense that you would see it over by DHL.
Yes, it's an Airborne Express DC-8....old skinny engines. It's been there for a couple weeks...I assume it moves in and out at night.
They would almost have to move it at night - with those old engines, people would think it was on fire if they saw it take off during daylight hours :DQuote:

I believe thats actual Net Jets Large Aviation division. You will see alot of private aircraft in banks names for tax purposes. Net Jets registers most of their aircraft with the tail ending in QS.Quote:
