Virgin America A319 standing at the Cargo Area entrance of taxiway CA close to the JFK expressway.
I shall bring my camera on the way to work to try to capture it. Dust spots on sensor and all. :|
July 25th
The new EL AL 777-200 landed at 6:08pm yesterday from PAE on its way to TLV. Wish I had picked it up earlier so I could have let you guys know.
AeroMexico 005 MMX-CDG diverting to JFK for low center Hydraulic quantity. Funny thing is the same flight was going to divert last night for the same reason, but continued on. A/C is a 767-200 XAGBC
Apparently VS76 from MCO to MAN headed up to JFK and then onto MAN. Rather strange!
August 2nd
ATA 737-800 from HAV
Twinjet A319 from SWF
August 5th
3 Virgin America A319 aircraft (possibly A320's)
At last check they only had 2 319's, and Skybus was leasing both of them. Have they gotten new ones?
British Airways 777-200
If you talking about flight 173, its been nothing but a 772 til at least april and Im sure beyond that as wellQuote:

Yes the American 757-200W, Swiss A340-300, Habitat, white Max Jet, and Simpsons Jet Blue are all semi-common visitors they are not daily visitors.Quote:

I disagree. 947 has been on the Evergreen several times in the past month. The White Icelandair I have seen at least twice this week alone. Virgin new colors 600, I'll give, but I have seen it once already, though I missed it today. AA winglets actually is very common. In fact there have been times this month when 2 wingleted 757's sat side by side at 8.Quote:

The Delta 777-200 was also the "Spirit of Delta".
Besides the aircraft we can't agree on, this aircraft was parked on the Terminal 4 hard stand:

The tail looks a lot like Ghana Airways. Does Ryan Air still have that 757-200 painted up with those tail colors?
Here is a shot of the Lufthansa Star Alliance and Icelandair:

Heres the AA 757 Citibank. Came in as AA 268 from SEA. I knew it was coming in, but the more I think about it it was not worth sitting on the Van Wyck for an hour from LGA. Oh well....Quote:

Nice catch, my first time seeing that Citibank plane.
I feel your pain about the Van Wick. She is a sharp looking jet for sure. I love the plane but the light sucks.
Here is my shot of the Citibank:

I believe the UFO on the T4 hardstand in the pic above (behind the Aer Lingus) that you thought might be Ghana looks more like Skyservice from Canada. Note the logo:

- Qatar A340
- 737-200 N737Q
Can you tell if it's the -200 or -500, Phil? I'd love it if that thing came up to SWF!
it was the -200..
There was an A340 taking off runway 13R early this afternoon. I missed the shot as i was driving. It had no markings other than a cheat line down its almond fuselage, and across it's engines and tail. Any ideas??
Sounds like Etihad to me, Kenny.

Negative bro. There were no markings at all on the tail. Only a cheat stripe across the middle of the tail as well as engines and fuselage. I couldn't see a reg as it banked into the sun.
Was it this?

That's it!!! Anyways, it was here. I only wish I had stayed at Bayswater long enough to get a shot. Thanks Gordon!
not sure who is operating it.. but 737Q has been at the iat last night and tonight
HZ-124 (which was picked up on an SBS in Baltimore at 1548L) is officially operated by some arm of the Saudi Government, but is under the nominal control of Prince Bandar, who was their Ambassador to the US from 1983-2005, and is now the Saudi national security chief.
It's Sky Kings. The aircraft is configured for 120 seats and came in from Georgetown. It was due to ferry out in the wee hours this morning.Quote:
