St. Thomas (TIST) 4-15-15
Following the JFK Vapor Fest and two awesome trips to KFLL, St. Thomas was next up on my vacation. Due to a late arrival to Crown Bay, I elected to make the short trip to Emerald Beach/Lindbergh Bay instead of a more traditional St. Johns Trunk Bay beach day. Turns out that the location on the beach I picked happened to be nearly perfect for shooting departure shots at the adjacent Cyril E. King airport.
In addition to a drop dead gorgeous (and nearly deserted) beach, the scenery included a handful of departing B757s and A320s sporadically throughout the day, and it turned out to be an excellent warm up for St. Maarten the following morning!
