Delta Flight Museum - KATL 7/5/14

The Delta Flight Museum recently reopened, with new displays inside and out. It is housed in two hangars at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, next to Delta's world headquarters. They have a variety of displays detailing the history and development of Delta Airlines, along with a beautiful DC-3, Boeing 767 "Spirit of Delta", and several other aircraft. Outside, they have a 757 and DC-9 which were recently moved into position.

Nice coverage of the Museum Moose! I need to get down there for a visit.

Great photos! It looks like the museum has gone through a lot of renovations since I was there two years ago. The addition of the 752 and DC9 definitely make me want to get back there.
It looks like the museum store is no longer in the L-1011 nose section. :frown:

Thanks! The museum store is now a stand-alone section near the entrance where you also pay admission. The L-1011 section is still there, but was closed, so I don't know the condition of the interior.

Nice shots Moose. I hope I get the chance to visit the Delta museum at some point, sure looks like a heck of a spot to check out!
