Delta City...KATL 7/5/14

Needing a break from the long line of US jets at CLT, I took a ride to Atlanta for the holiday weekend. Spent a couple of hours Saturday morning on the South parking deck, overlooking Rwy 9L/R. It's a morning (and probably summer-morning spot) as the sun was right down the runway by 11am, and you are fighting heat haze, especially for landings on 9R, but you can get up close.

I was in ATL a few months ago for a stopover. Interesting airport, but not enough windows in the terminals! The heat's gotta be brutal to shoot in this time of year, you did a nice job with that Moose
