I'm surprised they went with an all-white scheme, blue on grey wouldn't have looked terrible.

I am pretty sure that OneWorld regulations are specific that all logo jets must be either all white or polished bare metal fuselage (to placate AA). Thus, should AA do any new livery OneWorld jets, they would be all white as well.

For example, AA's next 777-300ER to be delivered is rumored to be in a Oneworld livery, looking something like this: (not my picture)
