JFK - 4/5/2013

Some more shots from the backyard. I wanted to mess around with the 80-400mm with a 1.4x teleconverter to see how the capable the lens would be with that combo. As the light got lower the lens focusing capability was a degraded, but it didn't seem to hunt around as her old predecessor. The images required a little extra noise reduction, but considering the light and the converter I was pleased with the results.

Nice set... Glad to see you got the reprinted AJ into CAL colors...

Mark that 80-400 looks really sharp, nice views there.
