-
The Husky landed at the heliport? Badass!! haha
-
No idea where any of this was going, they were all just zipping up and down the Hudson.
-
Thanks Gerard! It is one of those things that just confuses the heck out of me
Every time I go to the High Line with my wife, I get in trouble for not paying attention.

Pay attention to what? Oh, sorry. I was looking at a plane.

Ahh, so that first one is "nine mike tango" which is often in the Kennedy airspace! Anyway, pretty good Jason, especially considering that you only had the P&S. Helos are tricky as I learned a couple weeks ago.

At least 5 of the copters were tour ships working out of the Wall Street heliport!!! On a nice day especially this week with Spring Break the skies over the Hudson are pretty busy with the tour copters.

Yea, I was surprised at how well these shots came out. Nikon makes one hell of a P&S!

I was actually by the Wall Street heliport yesterday, and it was PACKED with tourist helicopters doing rides. They were stacked up waiting to land.

Yes it can get pretty busy down there when the weather is good and its prime tourist season. There are at least 4 different companys working the tourist trade: Liberty, HeliNY, NY Helicopter and Zip/Manhattan Helicopter!!
And if its a weekday add in all the private/charter copters that land there and you are set up for some great helo spotting!!

My brother used to live in West New York in NJ, right on the Hudson, and the helo traffic was nonstop, I never realized how busy that corridor is
