Westjet adds LGA from June 4 with 7x daily 737NG service to YYZ

I don't see this added anywhere else.

Westjet will begin 7x daily 737NG service LGA-YYZ on Mon June 4th. 6 of the 7 dailies will be the 736. The 7th will be the 73G.

An 8th daily will begin July 12th.

Interesting, from nothing to 7x daily is a huge jump.

They're offering some good intro fares of $49 each way, and $69 if you want to fly on to Montreal or Ottawa.

With taxes, however, it's still over US$200 r/t.

Must book by Feb. 15th.

They won the slot auction, they have to use them somehow.

WestJet had a few daily flights years ago and wanted to expand more back then. I'm not surprised by this at all. Now they can do it without competition from CanJet and JetsGo as well!
