Not that I ever thought JFK would not... I mean Cargolux comes here and so does Kalitta and Evergreen and Well, all the customers of freighter version are based in JFK. Where else would they go? Newark is the only other logical choice close to the city.
Imagine if cargo had to come down from Newburg? Just crossing the river would cost the city billions...
How retarded is that story. What standards would need to be modified that all these airports need the waiver? You'd think they'd include that bit of information.
I think they need to make sure the wings fit the yellow lines and that the concrete laid down on every inch of the airport the 747 may be has a depth and a capacity for the nearly 1 million pounds the beast can now haul. I think :cool:
