SFO 9/11/10
Had some free time in SF Saturday afternoon and the sky was perfect so I checked out the SFO Bayfront spotting park. It's quite far from the runways (1 mile or so) but I got nice views of landings and heavy takeoffs.
First set I've posted, and still learning the limitations of my lens (18-270 mm Tamron on a Rebel T2i). Didn't do much post-processing on these because I'm not planning on submitting elsewhere, but please let me know if you guys have any tips (including, "just buy a new lens, dude.")

Hi FromeDome, I think these are great shots. I'm using the same equipment and just learning the ropes

Wow, nice stuff! Great seeing shots from SFO. Looks like you fought a little heat haze in some shots but that isn't your fault at all. Keep up the great work!

Loving the United heavy metal. Keep it up and more more more! :)

Great photos.
Love the Swiss!

Thanks, everyone! Headed back to NYC tonight but will try to do another trip next time I'm in SF.

Some really pretty photos. Keep up the good work man!

great set - I always go to San Francisco to shoot planes but then end up going into the city instead - this reminds me of why I should stay for the planes sometime!
