ANC 07/12
Finally I made it up to the final frontier again. A great day trip that I would recomend for anyone. 12 hours I was there was by like a flash and the 10 hours of shooting produced about 800 shots or so. Heat haze was a little bit of an issue but worked through it. Here are the first few that I have gotten done though. This weekend and month is busy though with McChord on Sat and Sun and Red Flag on Mon followed by open base up in ANC on July 31st and Aug 1st and thinking about going back up there for that. But here are the shots(Also No snow this time to deal with :) )-

Hope you shot that C-46 in color! The rest can be seen anywhere in the lower 48 so I didn't really pay attention until I saw the C-46!!!!! If I saw one of those I'd be bragging about it for years. I'd even tell my kids when I have some one day lol That's probably the coolest airworthy propeller airliner in North America. Antique All-American machine right there baby, Yeah!
On the other hand, a B787... "yawn" lol
