Strategic Air Museum and Eppley Field
Re: Strategic Air Museum and Eppley Field
THIS IS AWESOME! I would love to see more if you have them. Some truly historic aircraft. I will now be looking all over the web for more images of these aircraft. Hours of staying up late. My wife is going to love this.... NOT!
Re: Strategic Air Museum and Eppley Field
Cool stuff, Doug! I'd love to get out there one day, looks like they have quite a collection. I refueled that B-1 back in December 1986 when it was delivered to the USAF Museum in Dayton. Was disappointed when I visited there to find it had been moved, but glad to see it is well cared for.

DROOLL!!!!! WOW, To many to list that I liked seeing... But the B-58 has to top the list! Oh HELL YEA! Thanks
Re: Strategic Air Museum and Eppley Field
Thanks for the comments. The B-1 is very impressive. I would have loved to have seen it in action.

Somewhere in a box in the closet are some slides I shot from the boom pod that day. I really need to find them and scan them...

I got a few from over Afghanistan, but I've been flying nights so they are all dark... Obviously way more sexy coming from the back of a -10 than a -135 though..
