Emirates SKy Cargo 777-200F JFK Pics
Greetings,
The Emirates Sky Cargo 777F departed JFK this morning for OMDB.
Lots of crappy shots, heat haze and backlit shot thanks to a blasted CAL B744 Cargo that refused to move until he got conveniently right in front of the UAE.
I also took note of a Fedex 727 at JFK.
Also at JFK was Czech Air Force A319.

That first photo looks great Senga. Can't see the heat haze. Sideways though this plane is kind of boring without windows. Almost looks like an A330-200. Would be a bit nicer with the Sky Cargo titles taking up space on center of fuselage.
Interestingly Emirates have basicaly had the same livery since they started in the '80s.

Thanks,
Yes its kind of boring looking. They should have done it like JAL Cargo does and make the cargo line more noticeable. I think this is my second 777 Cargo.
I like the UAE A310 the best though. Now that was one snazzy looking aircraft. For some reason the China Airlines Cargo 744 stopped taxing and so it allowed the UAE 777F to taxi in its exhaust wake cause a slight heat has effect. I am glad it inst very noticeable.
It would have been nice if the clouds were there.

Same here Senga, I loved their A310 freighter, even if I never saw it in person. They might have retired those already.
I'm probably the only one, but I'm not too excited about 777Fs taking the place of DC-10s, MD-11s and A300s.

Wow I thought you would have gotten the A310. it would go JFK-FLL. I think the A310 made it to the US 3 times.
I got it the first :)
The A310 the sports car of the skies. The A310s have been gone from UAE's fleet for a while now.
