Was trying out a new spot today for the 4's. Seemed to be a good neighborhood. Planes are a bit high, but its workable.

The A380 looks lovely from that spot
Great shots!
That almost looks like the angle from this one spot I found back in 2004... I forget where it is but it was definitely in what I thought was a shady neighborhood - but near the water. I do remember going down Cross Bay Blvd quite a ways and paying a toll...
I know where you're talking about. The residents are unusually friendly...zooted, but friendly.Quote:

You were prob somewhere in Rockaway...just not sure where. Which part you were in, makes a difference in how shady it was.
I don't know if a regular plane would look as good from there, but as far as the A380 goes, the ugly bloated bastard looks majestic and almost graceful all of the sudden
Maybe it's the way the light is hitting it, I don't know. Might be simply that Eric just got a perfect shot. Hands down my fav. of the AF A380 in NYC so far!
Agreed that 1st A380 shot is off the scale. :borat: I've been looking around for a spot I can use with my low range. So far I havent tried anything but I think I found an area. Will get back to all of you.Quote:
