Israeli Air Force pilotless fleet
So the Israeli Air Force has a new fleet of pilotless aircraft, which are roughly the size of a 737 and can fly for more than 20 hours.
I know this is only for military purposes (so far), but would there ever be pilotless airliners in the future? I hate the thought of it and wouldn't trust the idea, but it seems as though aviation is taken for granted a lot these days.

Re: Israeli Air Force pilotless fleet
I cannot ever see in our lifetimes Part121 aviation going to pilotless except in the event it becomes space based only. I am reminded of the "Pilot and the dog" joke.
One pilot and one dog. The pilot to watch it all while and the dog to watch the pilot and we all know what happens when the pilot touches somthing.

The dog wags it's tail and goes back to chewing on it's paw.
