Just jumped into my car for a few moments and heard BREAKING NEWS on 10/10 WINS. NJSPD are reporting a plane
crash ar Monmouth Executive Airport (KBLM) around 4PM. Reporting 2 dead, 3 missing and large debris field.
Will watch 5PM news in 10 minutes for more.
Pretty horrific scene coming in from Newscopters 2, 5 and 7. Looks like it hit the ground off the main runway and
skidded to the taxiway. Debris all over the place including a piece on the main runway away from the impact area.
An R44 helicopter is parked nearby and Ch2 copter reporter says the pilot of that copter saw the crash and quickly
landed to see if he can help but the wreckage was too twisted. Plane is being identified as a Cessna 337 Skymaster
that is based at the airport.
All five bodies have been recovered. RIP.
Witnesses say the plane appeared to be trying to land with the gear up, and that a piece of the plane fell off while it was still in the air. Strange.

That could be the piece laying on the runway away from the impact area.
Oh jes alot of small plane crashes lately. Thats why if I can I advoid flying on the regional planes. There not as safe. RIP. :(
