A few we don't see anymore
Being sick this weekend, I had a chance to go through some old files, and I found a few that some might find interesting.
I only wish I was able to shoot more back then.
Please remember this...
These were all taken in 2003, about 2 weeks before I was furloughed from UAL.
These were all taken with a very crappy 2MP Sony point and shoot camera.
Topaz Denoise3 helped get rid of a lot of hurt.

Re: A few we don't see anymore
I miss the Do' Jets badly. :(
Thanks for sharing, John! If you have more, please post them!
Re: A few we don't see anymore
I remember the DO jets very well - about the time you took these John I used to commute from STL to CVG to CAE on DL and the majority of flights that were CVG-CAE were the DO jet - I used to enjoy flying on them!
Re: A few we don't see anymore
Here's four more. I have a few old prints (late 1980's) which if I ever get my butt in gear and get them scanned in, will have a few more surprises.

Re: A few we don't see anymore
It's really a shame those 757 special schemes are gone; Spirit of Columbus; Nevada Battle Born; Arizona Cardinals...
I'll also never forget getting off an AA MD80 at STL in 2007 and seeing two Champion Air 722's sitting at the D gates...made my 5 hour stopover nearly worthwhile. :D

I'm glad you feel that way, now I don't mind posting these from the Pan Am Terminal Rooftop in July 1982.

Re: A few we don't see anymore
Maybe someone here with a good handle on photoshop can edit some of those for you, if I wasn't a noob at PS I'd love to give it a try.
TAROM IL-62 WOW that's one sexy subject
ps: great stuff John, I'd also love to see your prints from the 1980s. It's amazing how much things change, 2003 wasn't even that long ago.
