Your favorite golf courses
What are your golf courses. You must have played them though.
For me it is more comfort than challenge. I love playing my home course in Sarasota. Heritage Oaks. I spent a good portion of my adolecent life living on it so for me it is my favorite. Laural Oaks which is the neighboring course is another favorite. I also enjoy the various Disney courses. Here on Long Island I go out to Lido alot as well to play being it is a 5 minute drive from my house. I am a fan of playing the places I know with the people I know. I like good country club food though too so for that honor most defineately Laural Oaks gets it. Sharapova lives in Laural and on occasion you will see her at the bar there eating in the winter time.

Re: Your favorite golf courses
Okay, favorites that I've played
Great Rock GC (Wading River, NY) - Lots of elevation changes, very well layed out.
Rock Hill GC (Manorville, NY) - Beautiful views, always in great shape.
Swan Lake GC (Manorville, NY) - Largest greens on LI.
The Links @ Shirley (Shirley, NY) - A bit pricy, but a really well done links-style course.
It's been ages since I've played Lido Beach, maybe one day again.

I've always been partial to the "Casino" golf course landing myself. Wonder how many times they shot that scene to get it. They sure didnt pay much attention to the lighting and time for it.
Re: Your favorite golf courses
I was a huge fan of Eagle Mountain out in AZ...mountain/desert golf...absolutely unbelievable! The finishing hole you tee off with something of a 200' drop...God I miss that one.
I'd have to say my favorite is Ridgewood Country Club...caddied there for seven years, worked on staff for two. I easily played more holes in one day than hours worked in a week on MANY occasions :borat:
Re: Your favorite golf courses
The finishing hole is always the best hole. I'll digress and save the rest of my zingers.
