KRIC 11-13-09

US Army and Navy charter flight from KIND to KRIC with Northwest/Delta B744 N675NW.
He just broke out of the clouds with the first image. It was raining out at the time of the photos, so I did my best to capture him landing.

I thought it was interesting that he kept saying "Northwest 9997, in Delta Colors" each time he talked to ATC.

The photos are locked out - the only thing I see is "Content Protected by Owner"

Mike- the odd radio callsign is in use to keep ATC & anyone else on frequency aware that
it's a flight operated by Northwest but using a jet painted in Delta's new colors.
It'll go away once both carriers combine their operating certs and the remaining un-
repainted NWA jets get temporary Delta titles and logo. HTH!
