 Urban Legend Debunked: A330 Cockpit Video Shows Airbuses Do Not Fly Themselves
Printable View
There is another video of an Airbus flying into the woods that proved that a long time ago.
LOL Nick! But - that's a great vid!
if you want to be technical the plane is simply interpreting commands from the joystick and adjusting accordingly.
Seems the lag there is substantial.
Look at that pilot work that disco stick :borat:
Boy, that plane sure is a chatty Cathy. Does it really need to tell the pilots "approaching 22L"? Is the next callout after the vid ends "in one quarter mile, turn right on taxiway L. Recomputing. In one quarter mile, turn right on taxiway M."?
Also, from now on, I'm going to refer to those panels on top of the wing as Shpoilers.
I find it amusing that the plane calls the pilot "RETARDS."
sorry mel
LOL Mario - I was once on a Spirit flight from FLL to LGA - sitting in the first row and as we approached 13, you could clearly hear the calls - "40..30...20..Retard Retard" - there were a few laughs from fellow passengers....Quote:
