Any comments on what I could do better?
Initially, it seems as though you took photos in the morning, which from the mounds is not a good time because the sun is on the other side of the planes, making your photos backlit. You will usually want the light behind you, or at maybe even a little to your sides. You also chose a cloudy day, which may affect your results.
Otherwise, not bad shots. What's your camera setup?
also, for the sake of the forums, please resize your photos to 1024 pixels wide so it does not expand the screen.
Sorry, I should have done a better job with the size of the pictures.
I took the pictures around 12 yesterday. I knew I wasn't going to get great results based on the weather.
I will have to check the setting when I get home. I left it on auto though (I am still learning the camera)

No prob. Bad weather or not, the important part is that you're enjoying yourself and you've got some good shots that you can enjoy. :)
