There we go, one of the few airlines left with a perfect scheme has gone all-white-funky-tail before they realize it actually looks like crap in... another 5 years or so, then probably change that tail. I'm actually surprised their classy livery had lasted this long.
Along with Olympic's, to me Air Mauritius had the classiest livery on the A340 and both of those will soon be gone. Lesson of the day: Change Sucks
I agree with Mario... the reign of the oppressive "swoosh" livery tyranny continues...
:( :(
But taken on its own merits though, this one isn't awful. titles okay, bird etc... if it weren't another copy cat, it'd be fine.

I'm not going to lie, I like the new look. But I've been a big fan of the recent years up marketing changes across the board. However, I did look at the renderings for American's possible 787 Livery, and, even though it's old school, I like it too. Retro has its place.
The more i see it, the worse it looks, and actually think it's TERRIBLE. I'm gonna take the trouble and e-mail Air Mauritius and let them know their "new livery" looks like crap. Pretty soon there won't be any decent paintschemes left to photograph anymore.
What the heck does the candy-wrapper stripes on the tail have to do with the logo? That looks like something that came out of a pin-the-tail-in-the-donkey game:

Old for comparison below:

If they absolutely HAD to change it, why not get something that at least has style? like this:

LOL..it *does* look like a candy wrapper now... Whats left? oh yeah, maybe add some "dot com" titles ... :D
