NYC Skyline Shots
The previous apartment that Mel and I lived in had a great view of the NYC skyline. Without moving my head off the pillow, I could open my eyes in the morning and have the Empire State Building right in my face.
I wish I got to do more shooting of it, but I guess I just never got around to it (what with flying all the time and all). Varying light, weather and seasons made for some gorgeous scenes, and I just didn't capitalize. There was a tree that started growing as well, slowly obstructing my view, but here are some shot I came away with.

Re: NYC Skyline Shots
nice work. when i was in high school i could look out the dining room wndow right at the UN and see the entire building glowing gold from the rising sun. since then we also had a tree grow so tall it blocks the entire skyline. i can actually still see traffic on the 59th st bridge though.

I'll add a few to the pile...
Early Oct, 2000 from the overlook at Weehawken, NJ... Breezy night that even
the tripod couldn't compensate for. (scan from slide)
