Manhattan Bridge Bounces

Cool time lapse video of the Manhattan Bridge shifting up and down as traffic and trains pass over it.

I've done MVAs on the bridge and it ain't a fun feeling.

if you notice the bounces coincide with the passage of the subway across the span.

Last time I cross that bridge. :)

probably because the subway is the heaviest vehicle on the bridge. that's actually pretty cool to watch.

It bears an uncanny resemblance of a gal I once knew.
