Doug Masters or Maverick

So who was the better pilot?

Doug Masters:

-flew a single engine fighter into enemy territory and got the job done.
-Had the help of Chappy
-Had no time for love interest.
-made a Cessna 152 fly like a F-5 and got the landing.
-no formal training.

Maverick:

- swatted some Migs, swats more Migs.
-Had to deal with Goose.
-got the girl and sealed the deal....with a bull dyke.
-flew the F14 into a flat spin and lost it.
-got the Top Gun gig only when the #1 bowed out.


I think Masters could wipe the floor with Maverick, if they jousted in the same a/c type.

Maverick flew the F-14, that trumps everything else! :D

But if both were in an F14, Masters would wipe the floor with him.

I'd always put my money on an F-16 over the 14 in a dogfight.

Masters was annoying, however. I'd root for Maverick.

Shooting an F-16 on the ground......I MEAN SERIOUSLY. haha

You think Goose was goosing Maverick the whole time and Maverick staged his death as an accident?

I think Xenu killed Goose so he could have Maverick to himself.

Id put my money on maverick......Doug didnt "showboat" with a MiG and give him the finger.
