Wow. That's quite a scheme for the "safe" paint stance that AA tends to take. I like it.

I wonder if such a paint scheme is part of AAs experimentation of what it will do once the 787 comes to being.

Nah def not. this isn't paint, its polished bare metal. The 787's hull is carbon fiber and must be painted.

I know but consider this. AA is the sole 1 World Alliance member to REMOVE an aspect of its Livery in order to add the One World Scheme. Further, considering AA recently added decals to its liveries in the forms of ribbons, I can't see why the dramatic move of removing stripes as they could have just added the One World insignia.

so perhaps its experimentation of a new C/s to come.

The scheme looks very nice.. im looking foward to cathing this bird.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet. The high-polished chrome look is what sells it. AA's definitely got some "bling" now. :P
