Floyd Bennett Field in the Movies
I knew that the old runways at FBF looked familiar. I recently watched "The Godfather" and the place where Sonny gets shot looked familiar. It was supposed to be the Jones Beach Causeway but now I learned that the scene was filmed at FBF. I had posted that this scene was shot at Mitchel Field in Garden City according to a certain website. I hope that FBF is accurate.
