Air France Drops LHR-LAX, Starts LHR-JFK
Air France will be dropping their current LHR-LAX flights which was the first real 'OpenSkies' route to launch after the agreement was passed. Air France will continue to operate daily flights with Boeing 777-200 aircraft until October 26th.
Air France will be launching daily LHR-JFK flights on March 29, 2008 with Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The flights will be in addition to SkyTeam partner Delta 2 daily flights on the route. During summer 2009 the Delta flights will be upgraded to 767-400 aircraft with their new Business Elite interior.

I am glad to see the airlines taking advantage of the open skies agreement. Hopefully, we will have cheaper fares to EU in the time to come.

This isn't exactly 'OpenSkies' but Delta will be replacing Air France on the CDG-PHL flight around the same time Air France starts LHR-JFK.

DL will also sell codeshare seats on AF's JFK-LHR flight.
