Campaign Planes in the NYC Area?
Senators Obama and McCain will be making a joint appearance on Thursday at Ground Zero to commemorate the attacks of September 11. I haven't seen anything about their schedules, but you might want to keep an eye out the next couple of days for their campaign planes in and around NYC's airports.
Re: Campaign Planes in the NYC Area?
By coincidence, I ended up at LGA this afternoon. At about 2:45, Barack Obama's 757 arrived. LGA was landing Rwy 4, so I knew the light wasn't going to be great at Planeview Park, and a few minutes before he arrived, a cloud moved over. It took a little work in PS, but at least I got the shot!

I saw Obama's plane land from the tower at Vaughn College.

Wonder if he was on it. He taped Letterman this afternoon and is scheduled for Ground Zero tomorrow afternoon. And Letterman usually tapes around 5, 5:30
but maybe they moved it up to accomodate Obamas schedule.
