G-BOAD Will Be Repaired

Thanks to the generosity of British Airways, G-BOAD will have the radome of her nose repaired by British Airways. As you recall, a truck accidentally crashed into her nose back in June while at Floyd Bennett Field. Whether the radome will be re-attached from the original or an entirely new part is employed, was unanswered as is her 3 missing Olympus engines. Probably the repairs won't be made until she has been returned to the Intrepid Pier in Manhattan.

I am locking this thread and leaving a note here because PMs are apparently not being read, and this is round 2.
