Shockwave Jet Truck Crash @ Westover ARB
I would've added this to my post a few weeks back about the show - but I felt like this deserved it's own topic.
If you didn't know or see - the shockwave jet truck (crowd pleaser to photogs and normal spectators alike) crashed at Westover ARB during the Great New England Airshow. Driver walked away - status since then remains unknown. Show took a about a 30 minute break to get it all under control and clean up.
Shots were cropped and levels adjusted. No sense in doing much more as heat distortion was atrocious.

Re: Shockwave Jet Truck Crash @ Westover ARB
Wow... amazed at how well the truck held up. I'm glad to hear Kent Shockley (the only person who drives the truck) walked away without any injuries.
It also goes to show how well the truck's cab is built. There are so many roll bars and such that are designed for such an instance like this and Kent says he wears a nomex suit along with a racing helmet every time he gets in - not to mention he's basically wearing the truck on his body.
