I am watching this closely.
If AA screwed up, it's too bad. But I doubt they'll get paid since he didn't get sick.
And they carry an epi-pen whenever they travel.
I can understand the need to notify cusoters in ANY industry of peanut ingredients. However, just becuase such a treat was presented to someone does not make it the business' fault. That's ridiculous. At a certain point, people need to take responsibility for their own special needs.
This case sounds like this lady was going around LOOKING for peanut dust just to create trobule and file suit.
I wonder when their flight happened. When I flew AA in April I asked for nuts but the F/A told me they don't carry them anymore due to allergies.
Let me tell you right now...if I didn't get my warm nuts I'd be pissed! Those things are so dam good! I can't eat cold nuts anymore at home...I put them in bowl and warm them like on AA.Quote:
Nuts were sold to passengers in the main cabin, served warm -- for free -- in first class she says.
Anyway...as far as the lawsuit goes I'm not sure not serving peanuts would have made a difference. Residue and dust from prior flights would certainly have been present in the cabin's air. The attitude of the FA though is rather uncalled for. I've been on WN flights where they've said they weren't serving peanuts because of this same issue. However passengers who had trail mix with them ate it.
Wow, there are SOOOOOO many places I could go with that.....Quote:

back on topic,
will have wifey fish a bit deeper into this story. She has associations to the plaintiff!
