Delta Axes JFK-LGW and OTP

On September 1st, Delta will be discontinuing their daily flight between JFK and LGW operated by their 757-200 fleet.

On October 5th, Delta will be discontinuing their daily flight between JFK and OTP (Bucharest) operated by their 767-300 fleet.

I'm sure LGW is being axed due to LHR. However it's a shame about Bucharest, the only direct link between the US and Romania after Tarom ceased flights.

Agreed---too bad they couldn't make OTP last. I hope routes like Kiev, Budapest, Berlin last...

If I had to guess, I would say Berlin has a great chance of lasting.

Will DL still fly ATL-LGW?
