it'll definately be nice to have them back at LGA. even though they'll be flying -500s most of the time, a -200 gets thrown into the mix to add some spice and noise every now and then.

Matt Westjet has niether 200s nor 500s in their fleet...Are you thinking Canjet? Westjet has 600s, 700's and 800's.
i am, though i think it was more wishful thinking on my part than memory failure. i like 'em loud!Quote:

Actually, flights start Mon Jun 2nd. 440pm arrival at EWR, departure an hour later.
Their 13 736's are rotated on most routes often as subs, so EWR will likely see the 736 regularly, unless loads are strong (unlikely for a new route).
WS is planning this as a seasonal route to end in Nov but will review if demand is strong.
There is also speculation in Toronto newspapers that WS will add YYZ-EWR. Although, I see this as unlikely given Porter's imminent arrival in EWR with 7 daily Q400's which will drive down yields and add alot of capacity to the TOR-NYC market.

Is there any chance that Westjet would come back to LGA in the future?
