Gimili Glider Is Being Retired Today

C-GUAN is beig retired today to Mojave. Last night it flew to TUS and will continue to Mojave today to end a career for the books. Rumor has it she will still make a career as a museum peice someplace likely in either Canada or Seattle. Here is a link with flyby pics in YUL. Some commentary is in French though. Her callsign was appropreately Air Canada-Glider

The Gimli Glider is my favorite aviation "incident" of all time...I had heard the aircraft was being retired, but I wasn't sure when.
