CHICAGO -- Audience participation is a staple of the Blue Man Group. But apparently, one audience member attending the Chicago show believes cast members took their surreal antics too far by forcing a video camera down his throat during a performance in October 2006.
James Srodon of California filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the group.

I don't know how comfortable I'd feel with an unsterilized endoscope being shoved down my throat by anyone else but a doctor or nurse...

I saw Blueman about 5 times. What they do is take a small camcorder & place it to the front of the mouth, on the screen they then show a pre-recorded movie of a camera going down the throat.
The recording device never goes inside the mouth......

Seen it twice. I was taken up onstage for the part where they take up backstage, hang you upside down and douse you with paint.
Yep, all prerecorded and no, I wasn't doused with paint or hung upside down. next thing I was in the jello mold.
In any event....Another BS lawsuit.
